I guess I expected a more positive joking response...Oh well...For the record I ain't that dumb.

I understand that the inifinty in this discussion is the Mobius Strip type infinity.

Yeah, you know...a Mobius strip would probably be much safer to race on than an air strip.

I don't even understand the question. At first I wanted to say two, because of positive and negative infinity. However, the word size would imply magnitude, and the word magnitude would imply something measurable. Thus infinity has no size. It's limitless.

I've heard that before too. As a physics student, you're taught + and - infinity are the same. As an advanced mathematics student, doing linear algebra or differential equations with + and - infinity being the same would be a massive problem.

Integrating the to find the space under the normal curve with -inf anf +inf is a lot different than integrating it from +inf to +inf.

Get 1 for one and 0 (or undefined) for the other...

ONE size fits ALL

You can't really answer that question from the poll options, because infinity has no end, and isn't measureable, so we just say it is infinite

Yup, if you cannot measure it, it has no size. This poll contains a finite number of incorrect options ... and no correct ones.

Thinking about infinity, makes me think about our Universe.

My tiny brains gets confused alot and is scared to think more about it.

And coming to "How many sizes of Infinity are there?"
Just One... there cannot be multiple Infinities.

But when talking about infinity you can be talking about different things. You could mean an infinite set of numbers. You could mean an infinitely large or small object. You could mean an infinitely confusing subject (due to infinitely changing variables). The list can always go on, but there's no point!

Who says we're measuring it?

We're defining what infinity means to us, not measuring it or giving it a limit*.

*The limit part is my own interpretation. I believe that infinity has an infinite amount of sizes, concepts, and rules (or lack of).

What you said makes sense if the concept of infinity is broken-down.

But, thinking outside the box, Infinity is Infinity.

We just break it (e.g. infinitely large or small object) to help ourselves understand better. They can be understood as Many Avatars of Infinity.

That depends on whose box we're talking about.

Infinity is clearly defined in my eyes. That being said, I am always open to new ideas, you've just got to make me think it's a better one that the one I'm currently using!

Size and measurement go hand in hand.

Infinite means it cannot be measured. If it cannot be measured, you cannot determine it's size, ipso facto it has no size.

Its size can be determined to be infinite.

If you can't measure it, you can't determine its size. It is beyond measurement. At best, you can infer or define something as being infinite, but neither of these processes produce a result that satisfies the quantifiable concept of "size".

Infinity is just one constant which means never/no ending.
We(u, me and others) assign it to almost everything to understand things better.

I call'em "teh many avatars of infinity."

In mathematics, there are actual notations for different sizes of infinity. Alof knot (sp?) is supposedly the largest.
