No, they appreciate.

Some women like diamonds and cars. Just saying.

And a diamond is an investment. It will go up in value.

Serious? Walk in somewhere and see what they'll give you for your diamond and tell me it is more in inflation adjusted dollars for what it was purchased for. They're an investment per se, but the diamond doesn't appreciate, it's only the woman whose finger it is on that is the appreciating investment (hopefully).

Colors below H can look whiter with right fluorescence. But won't help anything above. Best bang for the buck is to get a good diamond is to get good cut, then get color below H (preferably below G), then get okay clarity. As long as there's no big carbon deposit in it, couple of twinning wisp is fine. If color is above G, it's better to have slight counter part fluorescence to offset yellowness.

Not married, not divorced, and well over the age of 30. I've known marriage is a scam since I was a preteen. Been with my girl 7 years. So far my relationship with her has lasted longer than most of my other friends' marriages.

They can like diamonds all they want, let them go buy them for themselves. At least buying my GF a nice used car gives her some bling AND an everyday useful purpose. I swear to God if my GF ever went and spent 3 mos. salary or had to go into debt to buy me a $5K tool box, I would lose it on her ass for making such a stupid financial decision.

If $5k is 3 months salary or put you/her into debt, then ya, I wouldn't be buying diamonds either.

To each their own. Don't get so worked up over what other people want to do with their money. OP is just curious about Blue Nile, not how much you hate diamonds and think marriage is a scam.

I just KNEW someone was gonna come back with this. I didn't mean 3 mos. salary for her is $5K. I was giving examples and being generic to get my point across.

I don't hate diamonds. Replace diamonds with sapphires for all I care. My God, it's about spending obscene amounts of money on a token instead of something useful as well as that token's role in the scam that is marriage.

I don't think it's a scam. I know it is. Take out the word "marriage", write up that contract, and tell someone to sign it. They'd think you were batshit crazy.

You remind me of a damaged woman from a bad relationship.

Yeah, I like the warranty on my car and the reliability of a company that's been tuning BMW for decades as opposed to some cobbled together Smartphone app I can blow up the car with while I act like I am an expert ECU programmer. See you in the "Just flashed MHD and now 'insert something here' is mess up" threads.

You remind me of the rest of the people in this world who think that because something works for them, it must work for everyone else and if not, they're doing it wrong. I wonder how far your wife lets your leash go...one of my favorite things is watching married guys' necks get yanked sideways in the middle of talking shit.

Just bustin balls dude.

To each their own; my OTS MHD E50 tune has treated me well for years (even though they may look like hieroglyphs to you, I have 100s of logs to prove it). Enjoy your tune and the peace of mind it gives you though; just try not to take every comment/reply in OT so seriously
