This is what I'd like to see happen:

Tony Ferguson vs Conor McGregor
(let Conor earn his rematch if he wants one)
Winner vs Khabib
Winner vs St Pierre (odds are it will be Khabib vs GSP)

Ferguson should get Khabib now. Khabib owes that fight to Ferguson and mma fans, since he missed weight last time.

If Conor can quick snorting the yayo. He should get back in shape and get that featherweight belt back. That weight division can’t handle his one touch power. That weight cut is brutal though.

they really need to find somebody who can bang with Woodley. Lawler would be good but he needs to bring his A game...not sure what happened last time? with Khabib not really interested in any future fights as his only game plan is take the guy to the ground, wrap up his legs and punch the guy to death...game over

Usman and Covington only welterweights with anything to give Woodley. That division is weak on competition, thanks to Woodley destroying everyone.

Woodley and Khabib should fight at a catch weight.

I think Tony deserves the title shot now as well
however I think its best for him to take the cash fight now vs Mcgregor
which kills two birds with one stone which is that Conor wants a rematch and gives him a much deserved payday
personally I see Ferguson dismantling McGregor as well
and this fight would put to rest McGregor's rank in the lightweight div

It seems the ridiculous fight with Mayweather may serve as a bookmark for Khabib anyway as Conor and Tony square off

As far as Woodley I'd like to see GSP take him
but I dont think GSP thinks Woodley is worth his time

I think this is exactly how it will go down. Khabib is effective but kinda boring to watch. He doesn't have the draw that Conor has. UFC needs that belt back on Conor to make the ratings and will find a way to ensure that happens. I would not be at all surprised if the NV Athletic Commission and the UFC are in cahoots over sh*t like this.

I wouldnt be surprised either as its the richest path
a Conor Ferguson match will be quite a blockbuster as well
then whoever wins gets an even bigger buildup showdown with Khabib
one needs no imagination to envision how this is to be sold
everyone wants to see a standup fighter takedown wrestlers
which is what Conors been seemingly been able to do
but within the confines of the MMA rules, given the correct wresting strategy it is difficult to do
either way Ferguson can go both ways and I wouldnt be surprised if he ends Macgregor's chances at lightweight
Khabib Ferguson what 3/4 times fell thru.. theres tension there
and of course Conor wants his rematch so if he wins the buildup is a no brainer
anyone who is a student of the combat arts wants to see Khabib vs Ferguson
then GSP of course will toss his hat in the ring to try and sweep the winner of it all.. for his "legacy".. muhahahaa
the emperor wins in the end? we shall see
