Cool Peppermint (Jennifer Garner)

I must say, this was a pretty damn good movie! nothing more sexy than a chick that can handle a gun!

Watching the trailer in a way it reminds me of The Long Kiss Goodnight?
Garner reminds me a bit of Geena Davis.

Cheers

I didn’t find it good. The acting was horrible and lots of cheesiness in the movie. For example, towards the end she was all “I’m gonna shoot you in the face and just figure out the rest from there” and then got beat up by the dude. And “you hit like a girl” and then still got beat up.

Entertaining movie? Yes. Good movie? Meh. If you go in with no expectations and just want tk be entertained with senseless action, then this movie is for you.

It had it's moments. If you like the genre, it's worth a watch.

I'll pick a good action movie any day than all this BS Marvel/DC comic movies that seems to be coming out each month. Come on Ant Man? What's next Vagina Girl? I miss the good old Die Hard, Indiana Jones and Passenger 57 movies.

I will say I was a bit disappointed with Equalizer 2

This wasn't a great movie.

Worth maybe two dollars at the theater if that included a soda and popcorn and some red vines.

I'll agree with this. I watched Atomic Blonde again this weekend. Such a great movie, the soundtrack and they way it was incorporated into the film was very well done. As for the super hero movies, I'm the same way. The film industry has seriously hit a lull in all these Marvel/DC films. I watched Ant Man and the Wasp yesterday out of boredom, and it did not disappoint in my expectation of disappointment. I will say that if a person were to take some psychoactives about an hour before watching Antman I would imagine it could be a spiritual experience.

Sad to hear about the Equalizer 2, I have this one in my cue and planned on watching it this week.

The best action movie the past few years is Mission Impossible Fallout. Lots of spy action, plot twists, action galore and the cinematography is incredibly beautiful. The scenes shot on IMAX film looks amazing in 4K HDR.

I can't get behind the generic action movies where it's just some guy/girl out for revenge. Way too many out there. Movies like John Wick get a pass as the plot may be generic but the style and cinematography is very cool.

I saw this on the shelf too but only had enough to get two movies which was Equalizer 2 and Peppermint. Will have to try and pick up Fall Out this Friday.

Atomic Blonde was actually pretty good movie. I need more Fantasy movies like Lord of the Rings, Star Trek and Harry Potter stuff type movies to come out
