IPTV

Just wanted to know who here uses IPTV? I found an ad offering iptv service for $15/ month and he says its from startv. Does anyone know if its good? What do people here subscribe to?

For anyone reading this that doesn't know what IPTV is... think of it as cable with basically every channel you can think of (includes HD and international).

Thanks,

I’ve tried a few different ones for a month... none of them were very reliable. Servers kept going down.. you’d get kicked out of a channel as it’s no longer available. When it works, it’s awesome.

I wanted to sign up with one for a year, but they didn’t accept PayPal, so I moved on. If you have a firestick, you can get most of the same iptv channels for free.

I think there is already a detailed thread regarding this topic, I remember posting in it a few months ago.

Good luck finding it. For whatever reason, you can't search off-topic.

Google is a great way to search Bimmerpost:

Not sure if any of those are the threads the other poster referred to.

Odd.

In that case, I had DirecTV NOW for a few months, it was beyond atrocious. Daily service outages that would last hours at a time. I now have PS Vue, it is excellent. I've been on PS Vue for about a year now.

Found one offering free one month service. I'm not going to post it here but feel free to PM if you want the details.

So far... its been perfect!

I tried out Youtube TV. It has most of the popular cable TV channels on it and the price is affordable. But I don't watch much broadcast TV so I didn't get it.

I subscribed to Cloud TV. It's got thousands of HD channels from all over the world, all pirated. They are based in China. It has been working flawlessly on the android TV box through their app. Subscription is $8 a month.

Have you tried using 'Kodi' on an Amazon FireTV stick or FireTV cube? I heard the latest official release has been stable. Various developers make all sort of apps with various TV shows, movies for US and abroad.
