I don't recall which one was which, but in late 2013 my then-girlfriend and I moved into a place that had a brand new king-size mattress of some sort, but I remember there were oodles of sheets and blankets for one kind, but the other kind was a bitch to find, had to use the flat sheet of my old bed like we're unrefined! I was about to lose my mind, but then I found some sheets at a specialty store before I became disinclined, and angry at how it was all designed... But king size is worth it when we reclined, it was even more fun when we intertwined! It's even great for a "personal unwind"!

Sorry, the first 2 sentences rhymed (especially since there was a bit of a compound rhyme) and I just had to.

If you're going to have kids, get the Eastern King. The extra width is nice when they start jumping in the bed.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I just spent $6,000 on bedding... We went from a queen to a king. If you are changing size at all keep in mind you'll need a new bed frame, sheets, pillows, duvet... Also now that our bed is larger, the wife has added 600 more "decorative" pillows

Then you are likely not 6’4.

Most guys add 3 inches to their height.

I'm 6'4'' and have Cal king. Definitely needed for over 6'3'' especially if you have an adjustable base that leans up.
