Do eat here: https://www.mamasfishhouse.com/
Prices felt like I was using monopoly money, however I admit that the dish I had was the best seafood in my life. No BS. Their menu changes daily depending on their catch. Make a reservation!
The town of Paia, about 20 minutes outside of Lahaina. We stopped here for lunch, and it was also the bomb: https://paiafishmarket.com/

We’re going to spend a whole day doing a circle of the island and planning frequent stops to enjoy the views and eating spots. Looking forward to swimming at waterfalls and the beaches. Will make sure the SUV we are renting is 4WD. Definitely will eat at Paia fish market, very reasonable prices for 5 with 3 kids although we’ll probably keep it light so we can eat at other spots throughout the day.

It's a great self guided tour that uses your phone's GPS to take you to cool places. Gives you history about Maui/Hawaii, etc. so you won't be bored on your trip and will make it go by faster.
