A couple field finds
My friend and I went out to grab some parts from a Trooper from a gentleman we met on the internet. Turns out the guy has 9 acres and a bunch of cars, two of which intrigued me enough where I'm contemplating purchasing them.
First one is a classic Honda CVCC 600, around early '70s. It looks clean enough where I'd consider a resto-mod, including removing the shag carpet *lol*. K20 swap might be in order. ![]() ![]() ![]() Next is something that I've never heard of before, a Czech truck called an Aro. A little quick research shows that it uses a Jeep 4.0 engine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() According the the guy, it has some electrical issues, but that doesn't scare me too much. Decisions, decisions. |

Those old Civics rusted even when new; rule was never even salt your French fries in the car... I'd look over the unibody real good.
Did he have any Pintos?

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
