What? You don't find games with zero defense, 100 three pointers shot per game, and James Harden traveling every time he touches the ball entertaining?

Yep, OGs with Nike Air on the back. I've got two pairs coming in today, the IVs are my favorite shoes of all time (I might get a 3rd or 4th but the black IVs are my least favorite OG color). My favorite colorway however are the cookies and cream ones, they OF retro'd them a couple years ago and I bought six pairs. I'm only up to wearing the second pair for good now lol, so I'm good for a looooong time.

I'm still hoping they eventually retro the OG fire red and military blue IVs, but for now I only have them with the lame Jumpman on the back and not Nike Air.

The greatest shoe past, present, and of all time (still have my original pair bought in 1989 lol):

Jordan is the one that ruined the NBA, with the help of Stern of course. Letting superstars get away with travels and push offs started with them, and then that morphed into the creation of the worst officiating of any sport ever played. Wrestling is more authentic than the NBA. Completely unwatchable.
The shoes, however... I own three pair of 1's, three pair of 3's, seven pair of 4's, and six pair of 5's. Those things rock.

ahhh the pulll-up midrange game...what happened to bball. all i see now is a bunch of fools setting endless screens only to flop off contact and shoot a trey ball. only team this works is warriors cause those guys are 100 with their shot....while jj reddick or pj tucket may shoot an amazing clip during the season...they are one good defender away from being completely neutralized

It’s no longer two steps to the basket. Just ask Harden, Lebron, and many more NBA players, it’s three. I will admit though, Hardens step back is lethal. .

Awesome! I haven’t seen that colorway in some time. I agree, I’m glad Nike AIR is on the back of the shoes. I have a black 5 when these were first re-released in late 90s? I didn’t know Nike did this and I missed 1 through 4. I bought the 6 also but 1.5 size larger. Never wore it.

Damn, how you have so many?! lol Doesn’t the shoe deteriorate after some time? My 6’s bubbles are cloudy and the midsole cracks when I pushed it in.

I’m trying to buy a 6 now that was released a month or so ago? I’ll probably get it from eBay.

My favorites are 4, 5 and 6. I don’t know why the 11 is so damn popular. It’s ok to me.

Yep, the NBA sucks for sure. I haven’t watched a game in a few years. It’s unfortunate because I love the sport and I played it from 2nd grade on.

The official rules are a step and one-half-regardless and I agree about the perhaps "dilution" regarding the rules and results. This may take away from passing the ball and defense.
Also, if you don't mind one who listened to the transistor under his pillow during the "Havalchek (sorry can't spell) stole the ball era", the game seemed to be better.

But MJ's midair hand switch is much more memorable

It was an amazing day! I sat in my apartment on Addison and Lincoln watching the game and jumped off the sofa celebrating like Mike. Too bad I moved before they won their first ring.
