Artic Grey Full Wrap

Picked up my 40i after having a full PPF applied, very happy with the results. They photographed the entire process which I thought was was pretty cool. I’ve attached a few pictures of the finish product, if you want to see the whole process follow the link, there’s too many pictures to post.

I don’t go into what I paid or what discounts I negotiated, that will depend on the relationship you establish up front. That said you can expect it to be in the 5 to 6k range, pretty pricey but with all the rock chips, animals, (mainly cats that like warm hoods), bird mess, especially mulberries in the summer, tree sap, etc., on my last one, I went for the full wrap on this one.

Thanks! A ballpark number was all I was looking for. Looks like they did an excellent job!

Thanks, they did do a great job. Visited them twice before doing it, they always has some high end car in their shop, even cars from out of state. Gave me the pictures too, much better than I could take.

This is a community I don't see an issue with posting what you paid

Would you recommend this company (any issues)?

Zero issues, I visited them a couple times before hand, but then I live here. Lots of options to go over, partial, full, coatings, warranties, wheels, tinting, etc., which they explained vey well. Give them a call, they will remember the artic gray X5. It will take a good (4) days and they don’t work weekends. As some of the more experienced members noted, and helped me, a shop that has lots of high end cars on their list is a good sign. On my first visit they had a full wrap camaro, and the second a full wrap tesla from florida, which surprised me.

Assume you are located somewhere in western MO?

Why not post the price? It's not like you can't share info

We had the full front end, rockers, a, b, c, and D pillars and mirrors and fender flares in rear - SunTek ultra 2800 plus tax. I would be interested to know if the door film will hold up to door dings. The best thing to keep the gloss black pillars and areas on the M Sport is to film it. Fills in and self corrects

We paid about 1000 more for the same areas on the Alfa QV which is less film. I will say though that the installer on the QV was much better than the installer on the BMW. Get what you pay for and these guys were not real great even though so many positive reviews. I guess if you don’t know what to look for it will pass by most eyes. don’t go for price only

Looks beautiful. Arctic Grey is indeed multi-chromatic in real life, and then there is also the camera white-balance at play here.

I have seen more blue/purple hues in pictures and this is one of the few which also has a dark green tinge to the color, which could be due to the combos mentioned above - but either way - love the end result. Very refined and classy.

Brilliant! First time I've seen a clear wrap. Do they put it on the panoramic roof and lights? Jw, how do you care for this and how does it handle rock chips, scuffs, etc.? Love that color too, I was seriously thinking of ordering that instead of another Mineral White for the 2020.

Looks great. I'm having our Carbon Black fully covered as well. Stek Dynoshield.

Sparkle, the film can go over headlights, and I'd recommend it since the headlights take up some good real estate on the front end. As far as rock chips and scuffs, you won't get any. At least with Dynoshield, it's pretty difficult to even scratch it, and the film will self heal with hot water or hot air. It's an expensive investment, but well worth it even to just have the front end wrapped if more economical.
