Would you or anyone else know the part # as well as the diameter(mm) of the tips?

You'd probably have to go down to a dealer and see if they have the part # for them.^

I wouldnt be shocked to see an M variant. Perhaps under a different name, but i think the Motorsports division will find a way to get their hands on one.

They could use the oldschool euro style of naming and call it an M 135i .

I think they're called "black chrome" - similar to what was used on the '04 - '06 X5 4.4 - very nice indeed. I think it's really just anodized...

yup! i was thinking the same thing!

would you 335 guys be interested in a similar look for 335 cars?

in other words, dual 4'' tips in black?

I think looking into us developing a 4'' black chrome tip for 335 would be possibility, depending on time.

It would look great on darker colored cars.

I still prefer the dual exhaust over the black chrome.

the only issue is it's a tough mod for us 335 guys unless you have an aftermarket bumper that can accomodate dual tips...

This is a nice idea and would look great on my black car. Any options about getting my existing DiMisa tips tinted darker? Maybe I should delay the install.

one of the guys had them powder coated (this will give you a flat matte finish). thats an option that isn't very expensive, however the paint may eventually peel.

we're working on an "peel proof" way to do this. stay tuned!

in the mean time, slap 'em on!

I thought powder coating makes a chemical bond, making it almost indestructible. I remember an episode of American Chopper when the coater told Mikey that you could hit it with a hammer, and the metal would dent before the finish cracked.

Not an easy task for 1 series owner as well. We need an aftermarket bumper to accommodate the second exhaust, if there's room down there. I think it's easier to find black chromed tips.
