4600 miles is very low, basically a time capsule, but dang - anyone know if that's the highest ever paid for an E30 ///M3 ?

Cheers,

Yeah its the highest money paid to e30 m3. Even in germany e30 m3 goes around 145 -155k euros however they are around at 100k km and some accident history. Anyways its still way too high for an e30m3

It was the E36 LTW at 4800 miles sold for the high price. Far too many of those common E30's around.........

Anyone here know the backstory?

Why did it take so long after his death to come to auction?

Also was this really for charity? If so which one?

Yeah agree, what was it 2013 it happened? Who's a legal eagle here on the forums, is there some kind of 'wait-time' like 7 years or something?

It was awesome to be on stage with these cars! Interesting to see how each one differed just a bit from the next. They were all very clean, the lowest mileage one had just over 4,000 miles!

Curious here. Did he have the proper M engine in it? Or still the US 3 series engine?
