Color Laser Opinons needed.

I need an inexpensive but decent Color Laser. I was considering the Dell 3110cn and the HP 2600n. I was looking at refurbs of both. HP: $250ish Dell $300ish. Any preferences or experiences with either?
Thanks in advance!

I've got an HP Color LaserJet 2840 and it's badass. I think it was like $500-600 though.

Go with the HP. Unless you like having to order your toner on the internet and wait for it to arrive before you can use your printer again.

Staples now stocks Dell toner. Also, I have a corporate account with Dell. I get toner in two days or less for no extra charge.

Does that change your opinion??

No, but it seems to have changed yours.

I was really looking for some feedback on the output quality. Any thoughts?

I have the 2600n, i payed about 400 for it last year.

Its does a very nice job of what I need it to do, but I dont print much off it.

Only downside is ink is expensive as hell, I was looking into it cause most my ink levels seem low, and you can pretty much buy the same unit brand new for the same amount you would spend on just replacing the inks.

The replacement toner cartridges have about 3-5 times as much toner as the starter cartridges. It makes more sense to replace them rather than replace the printer.
How is the quality of photos? I am not looking to picture realistic. Just decent enough to include in a report. Thanks!

i dont really print many pictures, usually head over to costco and have them done very cheap. The few pics I have printed look great, I have included many in reports as well, but never printed a full page photo.

Graphs and text print very nice, overall I am very happy with it, I just need to bite the bullet and replace the toner now.
