Deaths by covid at meat processing plants and effects on food supply
So Trump ordered meat processing plants to stay open admins unsafe conditions were workers were unable to socially distance or have PPE though some plants have implemented changes. If people in these plants are dying of covid what's the risk they are contaminating the food supply? Also farm workers who pick and process produce? Maybe we should start planting our own gardens.

Dad and I were discussing the slaughter houses in Omaha from way back in the 50s, unrelated to CV-19. The workers are predominantly lower-income, often recent immigrants who are making a KILLING compared to where they came from, but they want out quick
With that in mind, I wouldn't be surprised they are taken advantage of, and don't normally have PPE

It's high volume low income work. They have to process meat quickly working side by side with other workers on fast moving assembly lines.
I say definitely should keep them open but they need to have mandatory PPE and regular testing.
