BMW Chronograph

Hm. I bought this mostly for the cool M band. Was only $200.00. It should arrive in a few days. Hope it’s cool...

It looks cool, you could buy a rubber strap alone at least $200 so in this sense the watch is gift
If it houses a Seiko movement then it's the capability to measure 1/5 seconds of time which means no "limping" second hand for the chronograph hand when you deploy it ,another cool feature to me .
I don't like jumping second hand of the quartz chronograph at all

It's ok I guess. I'm not sure about the strap, I'd like to see it in person because it looks a bit tacky to me. I think if I wanted a BMW themed or branded watch I'd go the ORIS.

I don’t see any BMW branding at all on that Oris.

Well I just bought this for the look. And also, as this madness continues, I am hesitant to wear my good watches out - if I do go out. So I got a cheap one! And I can tell you’re a watch guy too. You know what a band costs!

Happy Motoring!

Williams was in partnership with BMW if you look in the box there is a replica of the F1 steering wheels sporting the BMW logo.....Williams used BMW engines. I think there are some of the Oris Watches with the BMW logo on the face, I just didn't find one when I was sourcing this pic.

Check out the Ball/BMW watches. There are quite a few of them.

I've looked at them and I think Oris would be my preference.

Yes, I'm proudly a watch guy and pleasure to meet another watch guy

Got it

I got this yesterday and it is as advertised. An inexpensive, but attractive quartz chronograph with a cool looking band. I’m happy to have a cheap watch to wear through the madness. I may be paranoid, but as this drags out I’m concerned that some people will become a bit more desperate, so I hesitate to wear my good watches. In any event, this one is comfortable and functional and it satisfies the huge BMW nerd within.

Who makes these? Have you figured out what movement is in it?

Do you know the model in this picture? I tried looking through the Williams collection but came up empty handed

Edit: It appears to be a Williams Titanium F1 Team Chronograph released in 2003. Production was limited to 2000 units

Sorry my friend I don't.....you could try reaching out to Oris or an AD if you're interested. I looked at one when I was in Vegas a few years ago. It's really nice in person but I already have an Omega Speedy my wife gave me, so I didn't take the plunge. As I recall there were an F1 series of Oris Chrono's that were all quite nice, but that Williams one ticked a lot of boxes IMHO.
