Bleh - Supercar Blondie got old for me after like 3 videos. Everything is completely superficial and I can't stand the "ooh this is super exclusive you guys" thing at every turn.
Straight Pipes is legitimately entertaining. They are fun *people* to watch. Doug was good for a while but seems to have lost his touch. Chris Harris actually knows what the hell he's talking about. I will always have a spot for Redline Reviews because that was where I discovered the M550 which I ended up buying. Not sure if we want to talk about the car detailing channels too, but Pan the Organizer and AMMO NYC are my go to's in that category. |

Agree on Savagegeese, real reviews and in depth technical dives where he will put the car on a rack and examine minute changes in engineering. Also a very skilled driver.
VINWiki with Ed Bolian is supercar focused but has a ton of amusing stories especially in the rental business and the Cannonball days. I mainly watch/listen for those. |

YouTube car channels are mostly run by narcissistic or profiteering jerks and are unwatchable and have not contributed positively to Motoring Culture.
Harry's Garage is great though! i always have time to see Chris Harris videos too. A fellow 1M owner and just an entertaining dude.

Autogefühl -- Love his accent. Very detailed and generally good reviews
Jay Leno's Garage -- a true car guy with money to back up his hobby Old Top Gear -- "Entertaining but rubbish" (a quote from Jeremy Clarkson) Scotty Kilmer -- He annoys the hell out of me especially with his love of old Toyotas but I keep watching his channel. |

If you're just car shopping my two choices are Redline Reviews and Alex on Autos. Both of them are straight to the point with specs without being overly opinionated imo.

Definitely agree, Redline Reviews host's voice can be irritating, but he does offer a boatload of information whether its from how well the door sounds when closing, to using the infotainment, as well as how the car drives in its sportier settings.

I agree with just about every post in this thread and follow almost all of them. Great recommendations.
I want to highlight Speed Academy: They are a great Canadian channel with plenty of builds ranging from the ASS2000, K Swapped 240, E46 M3 Drift car. Currently they are rebuilding an E46 M3 as a super car killer: They are even running a competition between YouTube channels to race their prepped miata. -- Cleetus McFarland is a fav for the shop synergy. They truly love doing what they are doing. Tavarish needs to finish a damn project or at least status update more often. TheStraightPipes are fun to watch. AlexOnAutos is extremely techincal and I love his approach for seating comfort/adjustability, storage, range and so on. The Fast Lane Car has fun with reviews. Their truck testing is brutal and evens the playing field. |
