My two rides - The axis powers

Now I know some of you on these forums have some serious high end automobiles to accompany your m5. Although not as extravagant, I just thought I'd share my other performance car in the garage. Thanks for looking, and please don't flame me too hard for having "just a Honda" lol.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I used to be one of those hardcore Honda haters, but the very first time I test drove an s2000 at the dealership back in 2003, I instantly knew that the car was special, and I knew one day I had to add one to my garage. It just has so much character to it; its such a pure sports car. No gizmos, no driver aids, just you, a 6 speed, a high strung 4 cylinder that revs to the moon, and rwd.

Oh, and "VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!"

Whether my wife wants me to be or not, I'm always on the hunt/lookout for a clean S2k. I've had several buddies that had them over the years, and I'd love to have one as a weekender

I totally feel you on that. Believe it or not, I was cross shopping between the f10 m5 and the c7 z06. The only downside was that the wife would not let me have 2 2-seat sports cars. The compromise was that if I got the m5 I was able to keep the s2000, and well, here we are.

Just the fact alone that Honda basically did a 10 year run for the s2000 and stopped production, made me want to keep the car even more. They're getting more and more rare.

Another S2K owner here ['06] currently paired with an M2C.
My wife does not like either vehicle.
She gets the Lexus SUV.

LOL you gotta be kidding. My wife's main vehicle is a Lexus rx350 too lmao (and the e70 x5). However, she loves driving the m5. Different strokes I guess.

Also, beautiful s2k man.

My wife does not like fast, low slung vehicle so when we go out its normally in her LX470 or my truck. I'm sure it has nothing to do with my driving!

My wife's main vehicle for the past 23 years has been a '97 Z3 Roadster with a manual trans. She will not part with it.

One of the few Japanese cars I whish I had a chance to own (S2000 and the 1st gen NSX). I'm quite disappointed I've never been able to sample a S2000.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

You'd be surprised how many people here have a history with the S2k. A buddy of mine has had all sorts of Porsches, and currently an F430 and he still raves about his AP1 that he sold. He plans to get one again.

I personally did look into them but ended up with going for a Z4M Roadster. Still respect the hell out of the S2k though
