Nice time, especially with the track being damp. AMG looks to be gunning for Porsche's lap times, with both the GT4D and the GT-R Black Series (no official time yet).

I'm curious to see how the upcoming 73e trim will do on track being that it will be heavier due to the electrical components.

Also love this photo of it getting some air time.

They also claim that 'the track' recognizes (verifies?) this.
I've never seen nuerburgring 1927 gmbh verify any record thb.

I think autocar is making up some things here for the sake of the article.

It actually looks better in person. Saw one on the freeway the other day. Couldn't figure out what it was from the rear until I saw its side profile. Looks pretty slick with the rear tail lights lit
