The Taycan Turbo S will be a sweet DD when it’s in the $80-100k range. Can’t go over the garbage interior of Tesla

the Model S Plaid is already on the tesla website. $134k for an 8 second 1/4 mile and 500 miles range. Porsche does have the nicer interior though.

So the only EV that I have any interest in is the Taycan, but way out of my price range, and for the money I'd buy the 911 Turbo S which is as quick FTR.

Because it was a drag race not a distance race. Also, Tesla is all over the internet thrashing the shit out of Lamorgini's, Ferrari's etc. Cars that all cost in many cases 3X as much. This was Porsche making a point. If I was in the market for an EV and money wan't the issue I'd buy the Porsche all day, everyday. If you're looking for range get a VX TDI, you can pick one up for about $3500.

This pissed Elon off and he is making a plaid Model S that is supposedly much faster.

It is kind of silly, I don't want every crappy driver tooling around in a 10 second car that weighs 5000 lbs.
