My Local Costco Gas came from BP

I recently filled up gas at Costco. Unfortunately, the dreaded tanker truck was parked at the gas station delivering more gas (yes, I heard all the horror stories but was too lazy to go elsewhere and so I filled up anyway…

coincidently, I just got my fuel pump replaced by the dealership earlier that day!). The tanker truck was unmarked and painted all white, but was labeled in small letters “BP National”. Just thought I would share.

Do you think Costco has a refinery? They bought the gas from whomever gave them the best price. Next week it might be from some other supplier.

how many refinaries are there in your area? I'm of the opinion the only difference is in the additives.

Costco will buy the cheapest gas offered to them, usually with little or no additives compared to regular gas stations.

I'm just going to Shell because of the low prices they offer,
filled up at 4.03 compared to 4.17 for chevron

76 & Chevron.

With gas over $4 bucks per gallon, who cares what brand it is. I'm just gonna go with the cheapest Premium Unleaded I can find.
