Seriously though, SLV335I has his opinion and you have yours. You dont have to tell him to sell up and take his business elsewhere just because he thinks MB have a great engine lol.

Thank you. This is why some people hate BMW drivers. Dont get me wrong I love my BMW but I also like alot of other cars. Again this is just my opinion. Its not like I can change the awards that BMW got for there motors.

this is the most ignorant comment i've ever heard. i'm a bmw owner but i love all sorts of other cars, including many mercs. you need to relax and take your head out of bmw's ass.

Its not a difference of opinion to say that the MB 6.2L engine is more efficient than bmw's 5L V10....Its just flat out wrong
HMMMM I wonder what BMW could do if they built a 6.2L engine

points were surely awarded for efficiency. i dont think that the people judging stick directly to the ridiculous mantra of "bigger is better" (although as they say, there is no replacement for displacement). the M V8 is a marvelous engine that is a main driving force behind the fun appeal of the M3 right now, don't cheapen it because you're an idiot. i don't claim that AMG is bad, i particularly like AMG's, but this was a well deserved win, efficiency and all.

you know, its not even difficult anymore loving bmws - they do all the work for me, i just have to look and fall right in love.

BMW FTW.

Could be cause they don't make that many enignes. Or simply because they are less efficient.
