One thing I forgot to say (never met her), she came across as a lovely person.
Always smiling always positive, the kind of person who's energy you LOVE to be around. I like smiley people. Be smiley

Nice video on the BMW unscripted series from 10 years ago showing Sabine doing what she loves - driving fast and scaring people:

Petition to name Nurburgring corner after Sabine Schmitz
Can't think of anyone more deserving of one. Admins, any way this could make it to the front page?

Such tragic news. I always wished to have had an opportunity to be a passenger in the Ring Taxi driven by Sabine.
Condolences to her family and friends. The motorsport and automotive world will miss her dearly. Thank you Sabine for all your contributions and inspiring so many people. |

This is so tragic. She really is one of a kind. I spent a good portion yesterday evening watching her videos driving street and race cars on various circuits. Unbelievable person, personality, and driver. We’ll miss you.

Wow very sad. Been awhile since I've seen her videos but always a treat when top gear featured her.
