Ouch. I'm sure Posche will take good care of owners but I don't think I would be overly happy if I was the owner of a brand new GT4 that required engine replacement.

Sucks but porsche go above and beyond usually. I'm sure they will slap and extended warranty on these engines free of charge.

Bmw has a known crankhub issue but don't seem to care. Corvette z06s had cooling issues on track. Dodge demons were blowing out their diffs on launches.

That stinks, but look on the bright side. Porsche is taking care of their customers immediately and not sticking them with years of fighting/worrying ala BMW with their shitty rod bearings, VANOS bolts, etc.

Good on Porsche.
