What was left of it crashed into the Indian Ocean SW of Sri Lanka. No reports of casualties or damage.

I bet the lead paint they used on the thing stood up to re-entry and is now polluting the Indian Ocean.

In the report I read they said when a similar core returned to earth a year ago piping assumed to be from the rocket was found on the ground in Ivory Coast,W Africa.

I haven't seen the official latitude/longitude coordinates yet, but suspect that it was in/near Maidenhead grid box MJ if anyone was playing Chinese Rocket Booster Crash Bingo.....

The shitty thing is China plans to do many more of these to continue taking stuff up to their space station. I think they offer "take-out" there.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
