Front grille scratches

Is anyone else noticing that the top part of the horizontal grille slats scratch very easily? This is very noticeable on mine. Would ceramic coating make this less visible and provide some protection?

Edit: I asked the shop I had do the front end PPF if they could put expel over the grille slats and they said they cannot put expel on plastic. But I see they put it on other plastic pieces including the black plastic rocker panels.

That's bs.

They're just scared because it's a really difficult thing to ppf.

Have them do multiple coats of ceramic instead or diy.

It's also really fragile, raccoon killed mine. However they are pretty cheap so I wouldn't worry about it.

I’ve always had success using Meguiar’s 105 by hand on black plastic pieces to remove scratches. Might be worth a shot.

Ceramic coatings don’t prevent swirling/scratches FYI. It’s in the wash technique.

I've noticed all of the black plastic parts seem to scratch really easily. My side skirts already have a bunch of swirls a few days into ownership

Yup, I thought I was pretty careful. I did horizontal detail spray wipe with a microfiber cloth, I did not swirl. and under direct sunlight you can see micro horizontal artifacts. That is some soft ass shiny plastic.

You'd think that's something that would have come across in their beta testing?
