Travelling to Spain (Barcellona). Advice wanted!

I'm going to london and spain in June. I will be in Spain for 5 days, 4 nights. How many Euro's should I bring for some light shopping and meals? I have booked a hotel, with inclusive breakfast. I'm staying at the Solvasa in Barcellona.

Any one been to Barcellona? Advice? Comments?

The fruit market is unebelievable in Barcelona. I think it's at the end of the las ramblas street.

Barcelona is great. AND the greatest footballteam(FC Barcelona doh) in the world imho

5 days? I would take 1000 euros with me, it's not a bargain there...

Whoaa....so much money? I'm a student, a 20yr old. I was thinking more along the lines of 500Euro. I gotta last 2 whole weeks in london aswell.

I mean, how much does a "cheap" decent supper cost? 20,30 bucks? that leaves 70 for shopping etc. per day? I'm not looking to come home carrying millions of things - prob shop more in london etc.

I am going to Uk for 6 weeks in June. PM me on the other forum and I will shed some light on what research I have done thus far. But to give you some indication, we budgeted for a thousand pounds per week which is more than ample considering we will be staying with family so "accomodation" is free.

Broken, I was'nt kidding. We were in Paris last september. And I'm not a girl who want's to buy 1000 pair of shoes and Louis Vuiton thingies and still (because you're one a holiday, drink/eat and the nightlife) 100 euros wasn't enough a day and I didn't buy anything special there. My country is expensive to live in, Paris is let's say 2 times more expensive, but Barcelona is almost as expensive as Paris in some places. London idem dito. And don't go to Switzerland. They pull you a leg.

IMO, it's London you have to worry about. Hotels are a bomb, plus everything else. In Barcelona, you're not gonna sleep cuz there are many kids partying and noise all night at the hotels. Fun city though
