SF Bay Area car detailer recommendations

Looking for a car detailer Mountain View, CA. Ideally they can do "detailing while you wait".

Do people usually use companies or individuals for detailing?

Does anyone have a detailer who comes to your driveway? Or do you drive the car to the detailer? If the detailer comes to you, I'd be concerned about the toxic mess they might leave behind -- even soap runoff alone isn't good for the garden.

OP, I came to post a similar question, but I’d accept an answer in a slightly broader radius, say South Bay in general, Palo Alto to Milpitas and all points in between. Of specific interest, looking for someone experienced with frozen/matte colors.

Anyone have any good recommendations for regular cleaning service?

I've been going there for 35 years, they do great work and are nice people.

And for OP, try supreme detailworks.

My buddy goes to them with his first edition M5, says they've been great with the matte paint

So, I did speak with Supreme Detailworks on the phone. Very pleasant and for basic cleaning/detailing, I think their steam approach would be very good. I have an internal contact I've leveraged with BMW AG, and that's lead to an introduction to the regional body/paint specialist for BMW NA here in the SF Bay Area, and I will be meeting up with them as a courtesy to me, extended to me by my BMW contact, and I intend to get some guidance for the best "go-to's" for frozen paint care/detail services and will update here, soon.
