I think it may have posted this a few years ago. Bought my brother-in-law's timeshare a while back and I've never used it. Last year I told them I was not traveling because of Covid but they still charged me. I would really like to dump this timeshare. Anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone wanna buy a timeshare in Orlando Florida?

People still are doing timeshares.

There is this one guy who now has a career getting people out of timeshares.
He got screwed, Pissed, and dug in the books..

Ah those timeshare fuckers. They hated me. When I was younger they would call and offer me like 3-4 nights free in Orlando if I went to their sales shit on one of the days. I would always take them up on that. They would get so mad at the sale pitch because I had zero interest in buying any of that crap. My girlfriend was always trying to be nice to them and fake interest in the crap they were selling. Not me. After like 3-4 times I think they caught on and stopped calling me. At that point in time the free vacation was totally worth spending an hour or two telling some asshole to fuck off.

Just as an FYI, I didn't succumb to a sales pitch. My brother-in-law ID had had this timeshare for almost 30 years. He was only paying $500 a year for it but as soon as we switched the title to my name they doubled the fees. Fuckers.

Dave Ramsey talked about them on his show. Said they were pretty successful in getting people out of their time shares. Although, he said the time share companies are not going after them by trying to bury them in legal fees.

I've never understood how the agreement could be for perpetuity. I get a 15 or 20 or 30 year term but man whoever came up with a permanent time share is both an a-hole and a genius. Good luck.
