Credit report error fixing service?
Have you used a service?
Satisfied with outcome? How long did it take to fix? Cost? There's shit on mine I guess I need to fix. I thought I did umpteen years ago. Guess not. Still there. Claims I live/d in Georgia, or something. I've never been there. I can't nail down a date when this supposedly happened. Or I guess if it's a continuing thing. Really nothing about it at all. I do know none of my money is missing, CC, bank, taxes, etc. TBH I think it's just some fat finger error and not any identity theft type thing. So what's a good recommendation of a service to fix this? |

Because it's just an address error and it's not causing you any immediate woes, I'd just try to fix it myself if I was in your position. Simple as just writing a letter and sending copies to the bureaus.
https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/article...eports#correct If they ignore you or decline to make the change, then engage a service to help you. But I'll bet you can get this corrected on your own. |

I find addresses from my immediate family members on my credit reports, it really doesn't do much except make it a little harder for me to pass their security questions about what street I have lived on.
As long as the parts that matter are in order you should be fine. If it is really bothering you then just send an email as stated above.
