I don't know what happened in your garage, but based on your post, I recommend you never drive in Italy.

Single bay or double? Lenght issue or width or both? (keep it clean now)
You can never have enough garage space or closet space. |

Don't know what your building code requirements are down in Miami, but standard garage dimensions per 2007 CBC require a single garage bay to have a 20'-0" clear depth and 10'-0" width. Now each city will modify the interpretation, some will say the clear space from drywall to dry wall, some will say curb to curb and from stud to stud. If you in an older home then the size will vary, what's wrong with your garage dimension?

*shrug* I have a huge garage at my apartment. We joke that we could fit my roommate's jeep in there twice lengthwise. I have probably around 4-5 feet in front and behind the car, as well as 3-4 feet on each side of the car.
Better be big since I pay $95 a month for it. ![]()

![]() That's crazy, dude. Screw that! Though sometimes I think it might be worth that much to get out of our parking lot of morons. I don't think that anyone in my building knows how to park a damn car. They are always all over the lines. Luckily I don't have to deal with them with my BMW.

I should take a picture of my garage and put it up here. My garage was designed back in the day when the British ruled the island, and so its not wide enough for a bicycle, but my car and my dads 530i both fit (barely). And now when they build parking garages here, they still use the British engineering so all the up and down ramps are barely wide enough to fit my car, let alone a honking American SUV. You see black scratches all along the wall and curb everywhere.
