Yup, that's the irony. Usually in new car promo shots they always remove the front plate, but for this one, I've noticed they include it!

I dunno... that actually kinda looks good to me. Hyper aggressive. I've seen em in person too and I like the look. I know....unpopular opinion around here. But I like it and might actually order one just for the 6MT.

Same here. I actually ordered a M3 6MT. And yes, once it is built and ready at the BMW Welt for pick-up I will go for the regular, wide Euro front license plate.

In person and in photo, I'm not digging the look. It works a little better on the X7 because of the vehicle size but everything else....reminds me of the pigs from Angry Birds. That's just me, though.

I thought the e85 Z4 was hideous when I first saw them. Ended up buying a used 2006 Z4MR because I loved the way it drove. To this day it’s my favorite car I’ve owned and the car I owned for the longest 5-6 years. The looks grew on me. Maybe I made myself like it because I loved everything else about it.

looks aside.... at least the G80 is an incredible machine to drive. I'm not quite sure what the Aztec has going for it.

The problem with the Aztec wasn't so much its looks. It's the fact that it was mediocre. If it had been excellent at something, the looks wouldn't have mattered, or could conceivably have become a selling point. Instead, it just didn't do anything particularly well. It wasn't even bad enough to have done a good job at being bad.
