Jeremy Clarkson did an experiment on Top Gear, turning laps at Laguna Seca in an Acura NSX on a video game and again in real life. I can't find an unedited copy of the real life part, but here is the video game part:

IIRC, he was ~15 seconds slower in the real car, and kept looping it or going off in the corkscrew because of the way that real suspension loads/unloads rapidly on that turn.....

Are they though? It's like having a porn scene running in the background with the volume cranked up while you bang your wife. Fake is fake.

Now an EV trying to make ICE noises, well yeah, that's just some straight up bullshit. But an EV making other noises to indicate it's powered up or coming up behind you in a parking lot, I've got no problem with that. Those are just useful notifications/alerts in my book.

Congrats! That's great to hear. Glad you loving the M3. I'm a fan as well. Yes, back Stateside, and loving the Camaro. All my previous Personal Best lap times have fallen. And the M2 will forever hold a special place in my heart, as it allowed me to exceed my life goal for Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time. Life is good!
