One of those things that makes any bike an indoor stantionery?

My Pain Cave. That bike has wheels, but they're never mounted unless I need to take the bike in for a tune-up. Wahoo KickR smart trainer mounted on an Inside Ride float mount. 4k TV hooked to an Apple 4k box which runs my Fulgaz app.

Way too involved, looking at something cheap (Amazon) to sit next to the pool and watch TV when it’s too dark on “school nights” I.e. after work

Rollers next to a pool. What could possibly go wrong?

Kinetic or Saris wheel on trainers are about the cheapest you can get. They'll do the job if you just want to spin.
