335i xdrive for sale but......
so i found out today that i spun the rod bearing # 1 and wondering if i should post it for sale (if anyone would even be intrested) as is or fix it. $12,000 for a 58,000 used motor. bummer thing is i just had a JB4, intercooler, charge pipe, and Burger intake installed. it ran 2 weeks and then spun the bearing. I was only able to get 2 little playing around accelerations so im thinking either the shop that tunned it did it or it had the issue before and the tune sped up the issue. either way maybe someone will see this post and help me with a direction.

Bummer. This is why I never tune my cars.
You will probably have to fix it. |

I say fix it and sell it. You won't get many buyers in its current condition.

I sold a 2015 C300 in October with a spun bearing (and a hole in the block) for $11k. Blue book would have been around $21K. So just to give you an idea on how much you can expect (%) to lose selling with a dead motor.
