Leather Seat Repair

2022 m340i. Black leather interior.

Starting to get rubbing on one spot of my left side bolster.
It’s the way I lean on that same spot when I get in and
out off the car. It’s a small area the size of a quarter.
It’s starting to rub off the black pigment of the leather.

It’s not a scratch or tear. I’ve searched and there are tons
of leather repair kits out there.

Can anyone recommend a kit that would fix the issue?
Appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Not sure on the repair kits / dyes that are available but if you have the memory seats, set the seat back as far as it will go and save this as memory 2. Save normal driving position as memory 1. Then before you get out the car select memory 2 and you will avoid scrubbing the bolster when you get out/in. Thats what i have done and the wear seems to have stopped. I didnt have any colour coming off but had creasing after only a couple of thousand miles.

Thanks for the response. Will give that a try.
Makes sense. Not sure why I didn’t think of that
since I was reading about coding easy entry/exit
with BimmerCode, except it’s not available on the current
software version for my model.
