The high school was a bit further, but by that point I had friends that drove and then I turned 16. Our schools were broken up a different from what I've seen from most other places. 1-3 (elementary), 4-6 (elementary), 7-9 (junior high), then high school was 10-12. |

10 years ago (wow, time flys...pun intended) put my 12 year old on a plane by himself and sent him to Rome to be with his aunt/uncle/cousins. Wasn't worried...wife was a wreck.
Was 11 when I first flew by myself. Louisville to Pittsburgh. |

First alone flight was in 2014, Istanbul-Boston Logan. Flew in a A340 (most likely a codeshare with a Lufthansa flight though i was flying Turkish), 2-4-2 seating, some old snorey lady next to me in one of the 2 pods. I was 15-16 back then, I do recall the whole process being fairly comfy and regular.
First time flying alone with a ticket I bought for myself was 2020 August, to see the girl who would become my girlfriend (now ex) in LA. Thought I was so hot shit, finally affording vacation trips, rented a G29 Z4 there, was going to see a hot girl, life was good Then I started dating her |
