Is it a result of parenting where the parents have eliminated every obstacle in their child’s life so when they reach voting age they’re useless and depressed because they feel overwhelmed at the thought of dealing with life’s general challenges?

Is it professors who rake in an easy 150k+/yr preaching socialism/equality while they do nothing significant about it other than getting students worked up?
