Places where water always gets in that causes water spots/marks after a wash if you dont blow the water out and dry it. -Side view mirrors run off along the cars side. -Tail lights the new ones accumulates so much water behind them :S -Head lights the amount of water getting stuck in there is mind boggling. -Behind the numbers plates of the car....... -Behind the BMW badges :S -Rims around the bolts, lung hole the smal canals behind the spokes. -The tires them self inside the patterns. -Inside the freaking grills making the car look like alice cooper if you don't blow it out. -Handles you have lift up the handles just before the line where the door opens and blow it out there. -Around all the black trims surrounding the Windows of the car. If only BMW could make all the water canals go under the car and not on the side of the car that would be awesome

I dunno. I have a master blaster at the house in FL and I love it. However in NC I try using my leaf blower, both an old corded cheapo one and my cordless ryobi which I use for actual leaf blowing and it's just not the same. I'm not sure if it's the power or the fact that I don't have a nozzle for them or the lack of heat... but it's night a day between the blowers and my master blaster. In fact I was just going to look for a smaller master blaster style blower to take up to NC this summer.

Bought a posh dog blow dryer. Does both cool and slightly warm air. Works great, still get some hard water stains (water here is horrendously minerally) but so damn fast compared to wiping and wringing constantly…
And my wife can use it to blow dry our doodles. If she wanted. If I let her. But it looks similar to a bunch of car detailing blowers…. And cost less than a third. Maybe there’s some difference but honesty? Good enough |

Just picked up my BLO air dryer s...that small thing packs a punch. I imagine with a coated car drying a car will be a literal breeze.

I had the airforce blaster, but sold it and bought a sidekick, as I wanted something more compact. It’s great for getting the bulk of the water of the car and bikes, just a wipe with a microfiber afterwards gets rid of any drops it doesn’t shift. I tried using our cordless leaf blower, but that was crap, in comparison.

So about this I have a Stihl BR600 I use for my lawn and driveway. I also use it on my cars. It’s like going through as touchless car was at the end 😂

The fan pulls air from the side next to the operator, the exhaust shoots straight away from the machine in the back. The older machines and older oil technology needed 30-50 : 1, the newer machines and modern synthetic 2 stroke oil is now 100:1 ratio fuel to oil so is much cleaner. My Z4MC is black and would show the petroleum rainbow easily, never seen it on my car.

I use the EGO 765 CFM blower with stubby nozzle. It's nice to get the windows, grill, and nooks and crannys, but i still need to lightly dry big spots with a towel.

In addition to my Milwaukee blower, I have the Master Blaster Revolution, with a retrofitted BigBoi 30ft hose which is far superior to the Metrovac hose.

I was toying the the idea of buying an air blower, but I -HATE- loud noise. Getting a new Z4 and will have PPF/ceramic on top, already have a nice pressure washer but looking to reduce the drying hassle. If I could just do a final rinse, pull it in and let it air dry without any noise that would seem much better than using a loud blower. Please elaborate! |

What I do is rinse each section after power hosing off the soap. I also rinse any spray over onto previously rinsed areas. Works a treat. I also occasionally measure the water mineral quality to check still 0ppm. |
