sounds less powerful than the average 2026 spec 1000hp sports car?

I really like what they can get out of an F1 car, I have to wonder if creating rules to force teams to run really lean fuel mixture is intended to see how efficient they can make a very high performance engine run/function. Very interesting. This guy reminds me of my high school physics teacher.
