Guys, I just saw the GINA in person! It looks amazing!
I've been backpacking through Europe for the past 23 days, and during my trip I made a stop by BMW's Welt and Museum. In fact, the museum just reopened last Saturday after being closed for THREE years! The GINA was at the very top of the conceptual design section, and I almost had a heart attack to know that I saw it in person after it was only just unveiled to the public a short while ago. Ill post pics of it in about a half a week or so. I get back in two days.

As a tool for design it's genius. So easy to change things and see how they might look. Yes you can do the same thing on computers, but there is no replacement for seeing something in the flesh.
I love the break/indicator lights on the back shining through the cloth too. Biggest brick wall it has against it would be pedestrian safety tests, in europe these rules are really ruining the way cars look. Yes i'm all for safety but there needs to be a balance, we can't all drive around in bubble cars! |
