XPEL Stealth PPF on a lease?

Just got a 3 year lease on a new frozen grey 740i. Looks great but the maintenance and keeping it clean has already been a learning curve. Already noticed a slight scratch on the door and the water spots are fairly extensive.

I'm wondering if it's worth it to pay $6,000+ for stealth PPF to keep it protected. Or since it's a lease just risk the scratches and paint damage when I return it. Not sure how much BMW would charge if there are multiple scratches around the body.

Definitely not worth it on a lease!

My dealer offers a plan that is designed for people leasing their vehicles that covers wear & tear on the car’s body and also includes worn tires when you turn in your car at the end of the lease

Call the finance manager you worked with at your dealer and ask about their plans which are definitely less expensive than PPF!

Also frozen colors require ph neutral car wash products. 😉

Thanks! I figured it wasn't. I actually contacted a place who told me the same thing that it wouldn't be worth it but they said I should consider a ceramic coat for much cheaper. So I might do that.

Don't invest any money to protect the paint unless you plan to buy it at the end of the lease.

Interesting, with all the expected issues with frozen paint over the years I wonder what BMW expects when the car is turned in at the end of the lease. Had never thought of that before.
