Recently got a call from a dealer regarding an M5 allocation. Apparently they can spec cars with paint/leather, brakes and wheels. Wasn’t crazy about color options and they did not have any details on price or anything beyond what can be found here. There was a hefty markup $10K, as you would expect. Curious to know if others are starting to get these calls?

Haven't gotten the call to place order and I should be #1. I was told about color and leather options and such but no green light to order. I had promised I wouldnt share choices so won't say anything but I'm with you. Nothing amazing paint color wise but hasn't been in awhile? Maybe since nardo was a thing? I dunno. And didn't hear of any frozen options but maybe hasn't been made known yet.

My Dealer has already accepted 8 orders for the M5. They are limited to 6 exterior colors, 4 interior colors.

There are plenty of people in California that have that kind of money, even with market adjustments, they'll pay it regardless. Can't forget the youtube influencers that want to be one of the first to get their hands on one, that'll generate plenty of money for them.
