2023 X5 M50i vs 2024 X5 drive 50e ??

question for the group...

I'm deciding between the 2023 M50i vs 2024 X5 drive 50e. Ive narrowed the search between the V8 and the efficiency of the PHEV. Ik honestly 50/50 at this point.

Thoughts either way? What would you lean toward?

Really depends on how much you drive each year. Less than 10K miles I would go for the M50i. More than 10K miles I would go the 50e for the gas savings.

If you typically drive 35 miles per day or less, you are in the battery only range. If you will end up running the battery down and relying only on the 6 cylinder gas motor hauling the extra weight of the hybrid, I would get the M50i instead.
