I approve of this message. Get something fun as a 2nd ride.

I would use Golf R as a daily and get either new M2 or Z4 m40i as weekend car.

If you have larger budget then consider cpo 991.2 or 992 911s.

Appreciate all the advice thus far! One new development - the dealer I bought my Golf R from is also an Audi dealer and they just had someone refuse delivery of an RS3. That said, they offered it to me for slightly under MSRP. I know it’s an upgrade over the Golf R but I’m torn on it.

Drive it. You'll probably love it and can get rid of both the Tesla and golf R and have an awesomely fun daily driver.

Playing devils advocate but why not trade the Tesla in on the RS3? Not sure if there would be too much overlap with the Golf R, but at minimum you'd have two badass machines, one manual one DSG, neither of which should depreciate much, if at all. GL

That 5 cylinder will always be special imo.

If you don’t mind trading the hatch for a trunk, the RS3 is a great performer.
