Coding/scanning app recommendations

Hey everyone Looking for some advice. I used to use Carly but just redownloaded it and....its totally useless now. So I'm looking for some alternatives, what do people use these days to scan for codes and do some basic coding?

bimmercode has my vote. Depending on your car model year but it does very well a lot of things and virtually bullet proof.

Bimmergeeks Protool with Thor dongle. Fast, reliable, does most of what ISTA and Esys does. One time license, no subscription.
