I generally hate orange cars, but I love this. The white is boring. If I actually took trips, I would buy it. I don’t care about weight. It wouldn’t be a track car.

I've been wondering if values will increase as these will become legal to import into the U.S. soon. I know I'd like to bring one over (and then manual-swap it)...

Yes I understand that TU2 is because of emission standards. But as BMW ups their boost pressures to atomize fuel more and burn more efficiently that also give tuners new opportunities. With port in addition to direct injection, that means you can up to fuel. I agree, the weight penalty is getting absurd.
