I’m week 42. That’s what BMW genius told me a few weeks ago. I think we see these arrive starting mid November.

Looks like it started earlier than I was told a few weeks back.

I’m in Las Vegas. Pretty excited. From what I could gather I was the only allocation in Las Vegas at the time. There was someone in front of me but they didn’t want to give a deposit or backed out. Allocations could have changed since then. There is 2 BMW dealers in this area and the bigger store was the only one to get an allocation.

I received a production number today and the car has moved to status "112"

Not sure of the production week yet, but assume it should be sometime in October? So perhaps early to mid December delivery? (southeast US)

You can call BMW and they will give you the production week.

I’m interested to know how long each step of you order takes as I have a production week 43 and seems like yours is ahead of me (delivery to Canada). So please post each update here 🙏

Did your dealer mention when to expect it in LV ?

I went back to my emails. Looks like I was officially given my allocation on Aug 23rd. The dealer didn’t really know a whole lot. They thought maybe end of Nov to Dec delivery.

As soon as I got the allocation I was able to track the car with the production number. It was in the 1st phase for a while. Got a little impatient and called BMW and the lady I spoke to gave me a build date to start Week 42 which is Oct 13 I believe. Then I randomly checked about 10 days ago and it moved to schedule for production which is step 2. This week it moved to production begins which is step 3. I now have a Vin number so it’s easier to track on the BMW app.

I still think the car arrives in November but maybe the 1st or 2nd week.

I have two available allocations for 11/46 and 11/47 production weeks if anybody is on a waiting list and would want one sooner! BMW of Lubbock in Texas. Have facilitated many M deliveries over the forums, including the old European delivery program (good ol' days).

If I may ask, are you selling at MSRP?

Yes, MSRP! Just to clarify, these are Sedan allocations, not Tourings.

I have an M5 sedan allocation available in the Bay Area. It's at MSRP, but they do markup the APR/MF, unfortunately.

You also need to sign in person, but it's an open allocation in 111. Please contact me if you're interested.
