For those that have placed an order in the US, have any of you received a production slot / delivery estimate?

This is my first time pre-ordering, so not sure of the process / timing.

I put my name on the 'list' with the dealer back in early June. Last Thursday (18-July) I was told my build was submitted - I received a 'vehicle inquiry report', and was told "only one person in front of you in the region", but no production date given yet.

But not sure how the global release works. I know each dealership gets a certain allocation (likely based on volume), so would each US dealership get allocated at least a couple production slots that will arrive at the dealership in time for the release date (some time in November)?

I've talked to 4 dealers in CT (2 of which very large) and none of them have allocations as of yesterday.

There's info in BMW M website, that individual colors will be available 2025 March.

For those ordering individual exterior colors, how much are they charging for those? Where can you see the list of color options? The M5 is no longer selectable on the BMW Individual website.

Has anyone from Canada managed to get an allocation number and production date from their dealer?
