Honestly, it weighs more then a ford f150. A hellcat is even lighter and makes the same power without the batterys. This car maintenance will be ridiculous and all The bushings and suspension probably will fail quickly. 0-60 time is good for the weight. My stock g80 runs 3.1 stock. The 100-200 times are quick but how many pulls will it sustain without the batterys going empty?The c63 amg is prime example of this issue.

I think, rolling acceleration on hybrid cars really cannot be compared to gas cars. Hybrids really need to habe perfect conditions, I wonder what the G90 would do on a dragstrip 1/4mile. GT63se is a prime example: Sometimes 2.7s 0-100 sometimes 3.2s it really depends.

Come on… the G90 does not need to compete with the F90 CS in order to be compelling.
This car has eliminated fuel costs and massive taxes for European buyers. If it’s anywhere near CS, this is an enormous win.

As soon as that demand ceases the ICE recharges the battery to make power available for the next ‘pull’. In the real World, you’ll never experience a loss of total power availability. Maybe, if you spend a whole day at a track just doing 100 to 200km.

BMW electrics is a nightmare. Everytime I come in for service I get nothing but horror stories down my SA as to the random things that fail in these bmw electric cars and they have no idea how to fix them so they just sit in the bay until bmw NA can figure it out and send a rep to fix.

The Hybrid system in the Bimmas is alright. I have owned a 330e as well. It works well and there is few to no situations where there is a "performance drop" I don't know about the rest of the aspects of driving, but I was sure it was going to be pretty quick. |

People actually comparing a regular M5 with the former M5CS. Puts up almost the same numbers and still are not impressed.
Like to bitsj about the weight like they can afford one or if they can, will ever have big problems with the weight in your regular boring life. They act like they are Hamilton or Verstappen or something. And you just know when the next M5 comes out they'll be comparing it to this generation and tell you how great this generation was. |
