Ya I feel like so many going overboard with lighting in terms of auxiliary, lighting and interior lighting, etc.

Bring back the simplicity, you know? 🙌

Sinister! It’s the type of car that only a gangster would drive in a movie. Really bad ass!

Not sure I’m huge on that illuminated front grill.

If BMW has released the car with 1500 hp someone would probably still be on here talking about insufficient power or a tune.
It’ll be plenty quick. And the PHEV means reasonable fuel costs.
I’m happy with it.

Spent some time behind the wheel earlier this week and it’s a very impressive bit of kit, the performance is insane and the power immense.

I ordered mine in carbon black. I liked how it blended in with the diffusor and was looking for a mean look. That said, I don't at all like the reflectors on the rear of the car. Newbie question. Is there any chance there will be an aftermarket black cover for these?

Have there been any reviews that have stated what the actual mileage is supposed to be on this beast?

If the M5 had a nicer steering wheel without the ugly M1/M2 buttons and plastics, and a proper center console it would've been great.

The weight, you cant do much about that.

Maybe the rear bumper should've gotten a different design but in all black it hides the ferrari fog light thing with a missing diffuser pretty well.

These M5s will be monsters on stage1, 900 to 1000hp at the crank for sure.
the ZF8 box is the limit I think. Also taking more risk then usual with a tune on this beast cause of the hybrid setup, if something pricey fails and you've got a tune....

I slap some 3M black vinyl wrap on them, cheap and quick solution

I'm trying not to complain about the m5 in every single m5 post I see . . . So I'm here to do this:

That m3 wagon

It looks like a whale compared to the M3 and no illumination on the front grill looks wayyy better!

I’m rather stunned that the incoming G99 M5T has the same 500L boot as my M3T

Those reflectors are there per country-specific regulations (for example, in the US, there are orange reflectors in front of each front wheel). I'm sure people will make smoked-out covers for them or what-have-you. It's also possible that in markets where there are mandatory yearly vehicle inspections, alterations to those reflectors may cause the vehicles to fail inspection.

Looks like, but with a few adjustments. Almost the same as i5 M60, or very similar to 7 series. Just with more shouty red accents.
